FAQs

Ombré brows is a brow style that uses ombré shading, a semi-permanent eyebrow styling technique that uses a small machine to place extremely thin dots of pigment into the skin, creating a soft-shaded brow pencil look.

For most beauty lovers, leaning into your mirror to precisely fill in your eyebrows is the most stressful part of your routine. Ombré shading graces you with one to three years of
low maintenance for your brows.

  • An ideal option for oily or sensitive skin, as opposed to microblading.
  • Requires fewer touch-up appointments.
  • Provides the appearance of fuller, well-defined brows.

Ombré brows are suitable for all skin types and represent a valuable investment. This service saves time in the morning, reduces expenses, and serves as a helpful guide when filling in your brows. You can also customize the density, determining how light or dark you'd like your brows to be.

The primary distinction between these two eyebrow styling techniques lies in how the pigment is applied to the skin. Both microblading and ombré shading are forms of semi-permanent tattoos. However, microblading involves creating short, hair-like strokes, while ombré brows consist of numerous fine dots with varying concentrations, achieving a powdered brow appearance.

It's crucial to note that microblading may not be suitable for all skin types. Oily skin, in particular, is not well-suited for microblading, as the color may not show up effectively and can appear blurry. Natural oils can also hinder proper healing of the brows.

There are no documented side effects associated with machine shading. While it is similar to a traditional tattoo, the needle does not penetrate the skin as deeply. As a semi-permanent treatment, it will naturally fade over time. Yamaguchi explains, "I have observed changes in pigment color beneath the skin over time, often due to sun exposure or inadequate pigment selection by the brow technician. Therefore, it's essential to thoroughly research the establishment and artist before scheduling the service."

Fortunately, ombré brows typically last between one and three years, reducing the frequency of necessary touch-up appointments. However, the lifespan of your ombré brows may vary depending on your lifestyle and skin type. Over time, you will notice a gradual fading of your ombré brows. When they start to appear less defined, it's an indication that it's time for a touch-up. It is advisable to schedule powder brow touch-ups every 18 months to maintain the fabulous look of your ombré shading.

(LIKE A MICROBLADING PROCEDURE BUT LESS TRAUMATIC TO THE SKIN )

The machine nano hair strokes technique replicates the appearance of natural brows using a small machine device, skillfully operated by your technician. This service enables the creation of fully saturated hair strokes, offering improved pigment retention, reduced skin trauma, and a smoother healing process. Unlike traditional methods, nano machine strokes apply pigment to the skin without cutting into it, resulting in longer-lasting results.

The Machine Nano Hair Strokes technique achieves the same lifelike hair stroke effect as microblading but employs a machine instead of a hand tool. This results in prolonged effects and quicker healing due to the enhanced pigment deposition without skin incisions.

This procedure is especially beneficial for individuals with specific skin conditions such as excessive oiliness, susceptibility to bleeding, or sensitivity.

The Machine Nano Hair Strokes procedure enhances eyebrow appearance, functioning similarly to temporary makeup. It streamlines your morning routine and can be especially valuable for individuals recovering from conditions like chemotherapy, alopecia, or scarring.

COLOR AND SHAPE BROW CORRECTION

Understanding Shape & Color Correction:

  • Shape correction is most effective when there is fading without scarring.
  • Realistic expectations are crucial for Shape and Color Correction.
  • Correction may require multiple sessions, typically 2 to 3, depending on individual factors such as skin condition, color, shape, saturation, and tattoo placement.
  • In cover-up situations, we can only make brows thicker, longer, or darker.
  • Older tattoos may still be visible, necessitating additional pigment in lighter areas to even out saturation.
  • For scarred skin, the success of pigments can vary depending on the type of scar.
    • Flat, hard scars can often be tattooed over, although pigment contrast may be affected.
    • Raised scars, resembling blisters, are unsuitable for tattooing.
    • Seek guidance from a dermatologist or esthetician for scar treatment before pursuing correction.
  • Microblade cover-ups involve adding pigment between strokes to address color discrepancies, but results depend on individual skin characteristics.
  • Microblading over powder brows is discouraged unless the previous powder brows are significantly faded; in such cases, a combination technique is recommended to avoid residual visibility.
  • Color correction for red, green, grey, purple, yellow, orange, or white tattoos is addressed during the first session, with subsequent sessions focusing on shape adjustments. The need for a third session incurs a $100 charge.
  • For excessively dark or black solid block brows, tattoo removal through methods such as solution or laser is necessary before any adjustments can be made. PiQo4 is recommended for laser removal.
  • Achieving perfection often requires multiple visits; not everyone is an ideal candidate for correction.
